There's loads to do around Abersoch and the Llyn Peninsula, these are just a few highlights which we love!

Restaurants - booking is recommended for all restaurants, regardless of party-size or time of the year. In the Summer, we recommend booking well in advance of your stay.

Crust - Pizza

2 minute walk from the house. 

During peak season, even takeaway pizza needs to be booked in advance! 

 

Manana - Mexican

In the village, opposite the Boat Yard shop. 

Takeaway/fast food burritos/wraps. Or you can book and eat-in. V. busy in summer.

Pubs

St Tudwalls - in the village. 

Pool tables in the back, cosy environment in the front. 

 

The Vaynol

Big beer garden which extends further back to the carpark as it gets very full.

Food available including pizzas. 

 

Ty Coch

Apparently voted 4th best beach bar in the world (could be a rumour!)

In Nefyn, around 20 minute drive from the house. 

Park in the national trust car park and walk through the golf course, or on the beach.Have a drink in the beautiful bay. A big hang-out in the summer.

Cafe's

Mikey’s Cafe

At the end of the main beach (the furthest away from the village)

Have a good walk down the beach and end up there for a hot chocolate or snack. 

Walk back through the golf course.

 

Sand Bar

Half way down the Warren (the long beach at the left of the house)

Good for a walk and a coffee… or a glass of wine. Provides snacks/lunch food. 

 

Blades/Deli & bakery

In the village

Croissants, bread etc.

 

2 islands

Coffee shop in the village next to the petrol station. Great ice cream and coffee.

Home & interiors

 

Aberuchaf - craft centre 

5-7 minute walk up the hill next to Land & Sea & Crust. On the left once you get to the top of the hill. 

Interiors shop, jewellery, local photography and a cafe

 

Boudicca

In the village next to the St. Tuds pub

Women’s boho boutique. 

 

Totally Abersoch

Through the village, on the road leading out to Sarnbach. 

Coastal-inspired interiors. 

 

Farm Shop - Farm Gate

4 minute drive up the road, between Crust and Land & Sea towards Mynytho. 

Self-service fresh produce from the farm.

Activities

Walking Snowdon

Snowdonia is less than an hour away. 

You can walk up and down Snowdon in 3-5 hours. Set off early and beat the crowds. 

Check the weather before you go, so you can get a decent view!

 

Go Karting - Pwllheli

 

Cycling trails. 

Lots of cycle trails around Llyn Peninsula.
